1/2 cup butter (1 stick)-- softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup molasses
1/2 cup honey
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup water -- hot

Cream butter, sugar, and egg. Mix rest of ingredients, except flour and water, until well blended. Add flour and water and mix until smooth. Pour batter into a 13" X 9" pan sprayed with cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees until center tests done.
